Despite challenging contexts, when given the space to influence policy, young people demand accountability and improvements to policies for systematic change in education. The 2022 World Assembly will convene youth and students globally to discuss and debate pertinent issues facing the youth and students’ constituency and their advocacy agenda. The first topic of discussion will be GCE Youth and Students as agents of change. Youth and Students across the GCE movement will exhibit the strides made in advocacy and campaigning as well as emerging, and persistent challenges youth and students continue to face through sessions such as ‘A Day in the Life of a Youth Advocate’.
